Adolescent Age...not so easy too handle..

-Adolescent age,What is it? no one yet knows. This Period of time is very difficult..especially the parent-adolescent relation..We suddenly seem to be aliens to everyone, especially our parents..Even if we try to communicate something good in a high/rised tone, they think it to be ''bad manners'' and then we get an hour scolding or our iPhone/Phone gets confiscated only because we said something in a high/rised tone?! I don't understand why our parents are not able to understand us! and believe me, arguments happen a lot and at last we have to suffer only because we are 27 years younger than them, so technically they think themselves to be "experienced" and now the best part,we are not respecting our elders or are anti-social..Also, whenever we wish for something, their only response is ITS NOT OF YOUR AGE/I DON'T LIKE IT!/NO MEANS NO! if it wasn't my age, I wouldn't have asked for it..If you don't like it, anyways you're not gonna have it, I am the person who'll be using it..NO always doesn't means NO only! And Most of the teens DO experience it, whenever parents say MAYBE, understand that they are saying NO or they'll pretend to forget it in future..

-Here's an article taken from http://clinton3.nara.gov/WH/EOP/CEA/html/Teens_Paper_Final.pdf

The teenage years are a time of great opportunities—both educational and personal—for children, but also a time when children face difficult growth challenges and decisions regarding sexual activity, smoking and drinking, and suicide. The key theme of this report is that parents play an important role in working with their teenage children in attaining successes and minimizing risks. This report provides new evidence that teenagers are most successful at meeting today’s challenges if they have close bonds with their parents. Young people are most likely to avoid dangerous or destructive behavior when they are closer to their parents. Similarly, teens who are closer to their parents are more likely to be successful in school. And the importance of parental involvement persists whether families are headed by one parent or by two parents. In fact, teens today are more highly educated and have greater potential for economic success than ever in history, through opportunities to invest in education, work, and community service. The economic rewards of education are at an all-time high, and teens have responded by completing high school and enrolling in college at record rates. Work in the labor force during high school provides income to the teen, can create opportunities for work and life skills, and in some cases may be a useful way of gaining experience that leads to better economic outcomes in the long run. Finally, community service, often in the form of volunteerism for teenagers, provides meaningful involvement that enriches teen lives and leads to greater success in and out of school. At the same time, parental bonds help teens face today’s difficult decisions and serious risks to their well-being. Though many harmful or destructive behaviors among teens are on the decline—including youth violence, teenage pregnancy and childbearing, and, very recently, drug use—these remain serious problems facing today’s teens. However, results described in this report show that young people who have a close parent-child bond are most likely to avoid dangerous and destructive behavior. The challenge for families is finding ways of remaining connected while accommodating busy lives. The challenge for society is to complement parents’ efforts by providing meaningful school and community activities for teens outside the home, and by insuring that families have the flexibility they need to spend time together

Argumentative Essay: Wearing School Uniform Makes Learners Proud

Here it is! another Blog of mine! and certainly the last one too(for November only!) Guys, plz help me! I need ideas for my upcoming blogs in December! Plz mail your suggestions to mahekbajaj03@gmail.com thanks again! Love everyone! P.S: this is not my piece of writing I have taken this from-- http://www.scholaradvisor.com/essay-examples/argumentative-essay-wearing-school-uniform-makes-learners-proud/ -- I have not changed anything, so it belongs only to this website..So,YUP! here you goooo...!

Argumentative Essay: Wearing School Uniform Makes Learners Proud

The question of uniform has come up a lot. In Britain the students have to wear uniforms, with only the smallest schools being exempt. In America the rules are a little different, and most institutions may choose whether their students wear a uniform. I intend to prove that wearing a uniform makes a schoolchild proud to be part of the school and part of the team.
Children need to feel as if they belong to the school
It has been proven that students who see themselves as the equal of their teachers do not do as well at school. Having every child wear a uniform helps to show the children who the teacher is in a very subconscious and powerful way. It also helps to make everybody part of the school. Without uniforms the unpopular or distant children will dress radically in order to make a statement and clearly differentiate themselves from their fellow classmates. This leads to further alienation and the feeling that they do not belong. Uniforms solve this problem by making everyone of equal status.
It helps make children all equal
Children are just as likely to set up a class system as any micro culture. One method of differentiating has always been physical prowess. Another is attractiveness and a “bad” or rebellious attitude. The financial means of their parents is another, and it is far easier to spot who has wealthy parents and who does not by the types of clothing worn at school. Wearing uniforms is going to make this sort of differentiation and discrimination a lot harder.
Uniforms sap a child’s creativity
This is the argument that children are less creative if they are not allowed to express themselves, but this is not the case. People have to wear a uniform in the working world, including in the creative sector, and they are not affected by their dress style or the fact they look like the rest of the team.
Uniforms restrict the children’s free will
This is the argument that dressing all the children the same is setting them up to be robotically minded and easily manipulated in the future. However, this argument fails to take into account that giving children too much free will at a young age is a bad thing. Children are not yet mature enough to make correct and well balanced decisions. They need structure and order in their lives until they become free thinking, lateral thinking, well rounded and well adjusted adults.
Conclusion
Wearing a school uniform makes children proud to be part of their school because it curbs alienation, helps to form class/school unity and differentiates between the students and teachers. It helps to give children the structure they need, whilst not removing any creativity from them.

How can YOU be a FREE SOUL?...The last Piece of the Month..

How Can You Be A Free Soul..?

Once again, Hello!Welcome to my blog..FREE SOUL..deciding a name and keeping it wasn't easy..it had to be meaningful.Something that can be connected to everyone out there..So here it is, FrEe SoUl!! So, This blog-this writing piece-is very special. Its the last one for the upcoming 1 Month. So Yeah, You guessed it right! I will do my next HOW CAN YOU BE A FREE SOUL on 15-12-15 (That's My fathers birthday!) But  i have decided to have these only twice a Month, or else it gets too much..Anyways, Lets start with this last one..!Here are some steps(7) to make you understand how to be one!

1
Understand what it means to be free. First of all understand the true meaning behind it. Whenever we speak of something like ''free-soul'' the only image that comes to mind ( at least in my mind) is an angel which is free, or the birds flying, or whatever you can imagine. In high school, you might think that being a free soul means, that punked out guy, who tells stories about where he has visited or what new and expensive things he bought or else the quiet, dorky girl who takes her book and sits in the library without anyone actually noticing her.It can be either ways.

2
Pursue your passions. Being free-soul means having the courage to not only follow your dreams, but also take the time to figure out what they really are – which is arguably much more difficult. Maybe you’ve given up on getting that master’s in Native American studies because you’re afraid it isn’t practical. Maybe you play a wicked diddley bow but don’t think you’ll ever meet the right folk fusion band. Maybe you’ve been raised by former hippies who have never understood your burning desire to go into real estate. Take the time to unearth a secret passion that maybe you didn’t even know you had – and then take the plunge

3
Let go of whatever is holding you back. This entails a lot more than thinking about all the ways that The Man is keeping you down. If a bad experience has left your faith in people broken, rebuild your strength until you’re able to get close to people again. If a strict upbringing has left you with little sense of who you are, work on stripping away these artificial layers to find what’s underneath. And of course, don’t forget to think about the ways that you hold yourself back. Maybe you have a tendency to play the victim and revel in your own misfortunes. Maybe you’re a hopeless romantic who keeps making the same relationship mistake over and over. Maybe you’re afraid of asking for help because everyone expects you to be strong all the time. Only when you’re brutally honest about the barriers in front of you can you find solutions for moving past them.

Live in the moment. It’s easy to spend so much time in your own head that you never actually connect with the things around you. Maybe you’re playing out fantasies, arguments, or zombie apocalypse scenarios in your head when you’re supposed to be having a conversation. Maybe you’re trying so hard to imagine how you look to the people walking past you on the street that you don’t even notice what a gloriously sunny day it is. Engage with the people, places, and things around you on a deeper level and you’ll find that your reactions to them will suddenly become a lot more authentic.

5
Honor other people’s freedom. Free-spiritedness isn’t about promising one thing and doing another, getting whatever you want without paying your dues, showing up to every date a half hour late, or leaving a trail of broken hearts behind you. Remember that your freedom ends where everyone else’s begins.

So these are the simple 5 steps, to make you a free soul!!Thanks everyone for the support. I will not be active on any of the social medias till 23rd. Thanks again!Special thanks to WIKI HOW! Few of the words in here have been taken from http://www.wikihow.com/Be-a-Free-Spirit thanks again!

How can YOU be a FREE SOUL?...By doing what you see RELEVANCE in

How can YOU be a FREE SOUL?

I ask this question every time...or rather, I state that every time..
''People'' might think that I am writing these stuff for inspiration and all..But is it ALL true? I guess, not.. I not only do  this to INSPIRE people..but to MOTIVATE them..now, ''people'' might say that INSPIRE and MOTIVATE are the same..aren't they? yeah, that is true, but a little..Inspire and motivate are when you need to encourage someone to do something..both are to ENCOURAGE..But INSPIRE is when you do something and then you dont need to tell people to do that..they will do it when the see strong relevance...if they dont see the relevance, they are the ''people''. Motivate, when saying something to encourage or lift up someone..now you see the main difference?

anyways, we NEED to get off the previous track now..

So, as my topic for today is, DOING WHAT YOU SEE RELEVANCE IN, is again connected to the LONG LECTURE I just gave about stuff and the ''people''

Doing what you love and in what YOU see relevance..I may say to my friend to DO something, like eating a fish, even if she's a vegetarian. Some ''people'' likely will will do as said, because they get CAUGHT UP in that bond, that they can't differ whats right and whats wrong. but the other ''people'' will first see the relevance, then take a choice and then move further with their decision.

So there are 3 easy steps to get the right decision and afterwards, not regretting the decision.
1) See the relevance. What can you pick up strongly? is that something against something dear to you?
2) Take a choice according to your decision, would you want to do that or not?
3) then do the final part/touching;proceeding with your MAIN idea.

And By the way,
TO ALL INDIANS, A VERY HAPPY DIWALI AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

How can YOU be a FREE SOUL?....A bird

Today, I woke up at 7:15 (too early for me to wake up in holidays/vacations!) So...Today I went to riverfront! By the way guys..I have applied MEHENDI!! Arabic one B)

So yeah...lets just talk about the ''main'' topic..

So today.. was a Sunday..And I was expecting really HIGH!..when I went to Riverfront in the morning, I was searching for my Dad.I was getting tired because I had walked GREAT distance..approx. 4,5 Km. So I was really tired!
I sat down on the bench and was just wondering how dirty our lake Sabarmati is when we look at it:( I was really sad:( Then my mom was there, besides me..She was narrating an incident she experienced when she was at riverfront with her best friend..so, as the story begins, My mom was facing the way where people walk and her friend was looking at the lake, bridge and the birds around..She suddenly spotted some guy trying to suicide..She was scared, she told my mom, my mom saw it and then that boy (he was young, around 10th grade) he was holding a pipe and swinging, as if for his enjoyment, then in a splash of second, he jumped..my mom's friend got worried and called up the police/cops, the firemen, the ambulance and who ever she could.. the suicide was around 7:45 in the night and everyone came at 8:15 to rescue that young lad..they didnt find him, but after 2 days, the body was floating and the police were able to identify that boy and call up his family..

With these thoughts running in my mind, I was SHOCKED to hear why would a young person suicide? peer pressure? parent pressure? or because of his grades? Then I was looking at the same spot and visualizing that boy suicide and thinking what would be the reason for him to suicide? then suddenly, a bird came, and was flying freely, I was into deep thoughts and was all into negative part, when a bird came and took me into the positive part..I was thinking what would have happened if that depressed boy would be a free bird or a chirpy one..Things come in our life and make our life miserable..it can be people too..But its OUR choice, how we, react to that situation or a better way, how we RESPOND to that situation..FEAR has 2 meanings:
Fear                                  Face
Everything        or         Everything

And                                   And
Run                                   Rise

The choice was still his..I was just looking at that bird..How free it was..No cage or restrictions to bind it and make it feel insecure..

The choice is YOURS to be that boy or the bird..More overly, A FrEe SoUl..!

*P.S: for those who dont know what Riverfront is, its a park which is famous all around India..The picture is below--> or better ways search for ' Riverfront Park, Ahmedabad'

How can YOU be a FREE SOUL? Childhood...

Every 2 months(from now), I am going to write, how YOU can be a FREE SOUL! or else how were YOU a FREE SOUL before!:( This time I've chosen childhood..Being a child feels so free, doing nothing but still everything! Here's how I feel about when I was/am a FrEe SoUl!!

Sometimes, it feels like just to rewind everything and be a small child again!..Doing whatever you like!no ''Judgmental'' people around you-even if there are, they don't judge what you do- mostly being a FREE SOUL!

How I wish I could be six or seven or eight years old, I miss my childhood dearly. Those are the days where one can be themselves no matter what people think about you, mostly they wouldn’t bother you much as we do not fall into their radar.
Still Lovin it!

You know what I miss most about being a kid? Laughing at the top of my lungs, running without any inhibitions, falling without embarrassment, eating anything I wanted, having meals ready on the table without me having to think about it, digging grass and hunting for bugs and worms, collecting marbles and shells by the shore, getting pampered when I fell sick, mom's fingers running through my hair to put me to sleep, waking up excited about a new day, exploring just about anything, having fights for many petty things and not worrying about wearing a white tee-shirt and getting soaked, fighting over a toy, chair, TV (the only thing that has not changed is the fight for the TV, opponent now is my brother) and then getting bored of it and sharing cookies, loving going to pre-school (that am not sure about, because I used to detest going) using my imagination, thinking love was a funny word more than ‘funny’ something which can’t be uttered as it is supposed to be sinful and not being afraid of anything in life!...

How I miss that Period of my life! this always flashes into my mind and gets a smile on my face!:) wish that just comes again!..

Out of 7 billion opinions, here is 1 opinion for...

What does FREEDOM mean to me?

These days people take for granted what out ancestors worked so hard to provide for us.They had perseverance along with a single goal in mind,Their goal was to bring India freedom at least.Freedom cam mean so many to so many different people (specifically, 7 billion (the population of earth))We all are different so, we all have many opinions for what freedom really is.Here,is 1 opinion out from the 7 billion opinions to share. To me,freedom means a hope, commitment and pride. When in school I got to know that how India came to be a democratic land,I felt proud and mostly amazed at how many leaders bought freedom to us,free for the upcoming generations. The freedom we have today, also reminds me of some places where it is still being ruled. There are many countries where the people hear the word FREEDOM but don’t experience it for themselves. We can only pray for those people right now and a dream of a world that is completely free.I believe that everyone should be able to experience and live in a free nation from free religion to free voting rights.Freedom to me should always be an opportunity to make the world get better and that's what freedomreally is!

The Spirit World- for the GHOST LOVER people

THE SPIRIT WORLD-inspiration from a comic- creepy#9

Late one night,a shambling figure made its way down a deserted city street. It arrived at an apartment building and went inside. The landlady caught a glimpse of the strange figure struggling up the stairs.

All of a sudden she heard a crash! and the sound of splintering wood. Then, there were terrified screams and a sound of a terrible struggle. She ran to the phone and called up the cops. When she came back, there was a fearful silence....

Cautiously, the landlady made her way up the stairs until she saw the broken door.It was the door to the apartment of one of her tenants...a university student,Michael Flynn.
peering through the door, she saw Michael lying on the floor. He was mortally injured and his face had been beaten to a pulp. She helped him onto the bed and tried to make him comfortable, but it was clear that he was dying.
''What happened Michael?'' the Landlady cried..
Michael let out an agonized groan.
''it all started with my lecturer at the university'' he said ''his name was Professor Jerome. He was an old man with grey hair and he walked with a cane. He must have been 70 years old if he was a day.''
He was doing research on Hypnotism and I volunteered to be one of his test subjects. One evening, he invited me to his house. He wanted me to assist him with a Hypnotic experiment. He told me he wanted to put me into a trance.I felt a little nervous,But I trusted him. After all, he was my Professer.
He took out his pocket watch and held it in front of my eyes. I watched it swinging back and forth.I listened to the soothing sound of his voice and gradually,I felt myself falling into a trance.
All of a sudden, I felt as if I was separating from my body! I was a free spirit, cut loose from the flesh.I was floating up and up and when I looked down,I saw my body sitting in the chair and Professer Jerome standing over me.
The room started swirling around me and then,it simply vanished.I was moving through a new world...Floating through a strange world of mist and shadow...drifting through an unearthly place of fog and darkness. I had no idea, where I was and where I was going..
Eventually, I wanted to go back into my body.I floated back the way I had come. When I returned to the room,I was horrified to find my body moving around on its own!Somebody had stolen it. I didn't have to look far for the culprit.
Professer Jerome's body sat slumped on the chair. He was dead.It didn't take me long to work out what had happened. While I was gone,He had left his body and taken over mine! His body was old and he knew he was going to die soon, so he stole a healthy young body....My body!
I watched helplessly as Professer Jerome walked away with my body and set about living a new life.I was trapped in a world of mist and shadow, doomed to wander aimlessly for all eternity.Without a body,I was nothing, but a free spirit. It was a fate worse than death.
I don't know how long I lingered in that gloomy netherworld.Perhaps,it was months maybe years. Finally something struck me! It was so simple and I wondered why didn't I think of it before...
I searched and searched, until eventually,I found what I was looking for...The cemetery where Professer Jerome's body had been buried.I floated down through the earth and entered the coffin where I possessed the body. The rest of it wasn't easy,But I managed to claw my way out of that grave  and pulled up myself to the surface.
When I stood up and tried to walk,I realized that too much time had gone by.Professer Jerome's body was now a rotting corpse. With every step I took, pieces of flesh were dropping off.I had to keep going. My spirit controlled the awful, decaying thing and forced it to move forward.
I made my way home...back to my apartment building...up the stairs...and I kicked open the door...
You can imagine the horror on Professer Jerome's face....my face...when he turned around and saw his own rotting corpse standing in the doorway. His eyes grew wide, his jaw dropped open and he began trembling and shaking with fear.
I threw myself at him and my bony fingers wrapped around his throat, strangling him.I was trying to throttle the life out of him.It was a terrible struggle. Each time I smashed my fist into his face, bits of my body would drop off. Each time I stomped on his head,my body would crumble more and more.I was falling into pieces, but i kept beating him.
Eventually,I accomplished what I had come to do.I had beaten him nearly to death.Professer Jerome's spirit abandoned the dying body...my body...and floated up into the air..I was able to possess my body again.I'm back...back in my own body...Oh how glorious it feels to be back...''
And with that, the student breathed his last. His eyes closed and he finally died. There was a serene smile on his face..
The landlady had listened to the entire story, but she didn't believe a word of it.However, when she turned on the lights, she was horrified to find the rotten corpse of an old man, lying in pieces on the floor....and then the cops came! she narrated the entire story, but the cops, too, didn't believe a word of it and thought the woman to be psycho and they left....

now you would have surely known the theme of the month...yes!GHOST STORIES/URBAN LEGENDS!

30 Day Art Challenge!

HELLO GUYS!! I am Mahek and I have CHOSEN A 30 day art challenge for myself! I haven't written it myself, I have took this wonderful idea from a wonderful Website!  Which really inspired me to create my own ART JOURNAL!!
http://pamperpusscat.blogspot.in/2012/09/the-30-day-art-journal.html

Fill a page a day.
1.) Take a minute to connect with your feelings. Close your eyes. Imagine. Draw or paint them.
2.) Doodle until  you fill an entire page.
3) Pick an object in your house. While looking only at the object put your pen to paper and draw it without picking up your pen. Colour in your crazy art.
4) Find a beautiful picture in a magazine cut it out and make that the centre of your art journal page.
5) Imagine your inner critic as a monster. Draw or paint that monster.
6) Pick a quote and design an art journal page around it.
7) Write down five of your core beliefs. Pick one and illustrate it.
8) What is your favourite fairy tale? Draw or paint your favourite scene.
9) Think about someone who inspires you. Use the person's characteristics to inspire your journal page.
10) Live in the moment. Journal about whatever is on your mind.
11) Construct a Journal page around the last time that you travelled.
12) Grab some junk mail and use it as the background of your page. Colour over it.
13) Write down 10 things that you are grateful for and use them to inspire your Journal Page.
14) Pick a lyric from one of your favourite song and illustrate it.
15) Find a poem and let it inspire your Journal Page.
16) Pretend you are a goddess. Draw her.
17) Illustrate your favourite moment from the last week.
18) Write a compliment to yourself for a recent accomplishment. Centre a Journal page around it.
19) Draw yourself in a beautiful ball gown.
20) Journal about things that you think are lovely.
21) Think about something in your everday life that you take for granted and devote your art journal page to it.
22) Paint or illustrate how you feel when you're at your favourite place.
23) Draw a large heart in the middle of the page and fill it with things that make your heart smile.
24) Think back to your favourite childhood memory and use it to inspire your Journal page.
25) Journal about peace and harmony.
26) Use glue to stick book pages to your Journal page and use as a background then draw and paint on top of them.
27) Pick three colours. Draw an animal using a pen and then use only those three colours to fill it in.
28) Draw a staircase and think about your biggest dream. Draw it at the top of the staircase and then fill in each step with goals to make it reality.
29) Journal about hopes. (I totally read her writing as Herpes hahaha)
30) Journal about things that make you laugh out loud.

Therefore, prepare to see a mixture of crap art and reasonable art with a healthy dish of criticism towards all my own work. Hmmm maybe that is defeating the point of this challenge. Well I hope you enjoy!!

xoxo,
Mahek ;)

I'm tall...now what?!...

(Hellos to my dearest followers! today I will be sharing about one of my MAJOR ''problems''-inspiration from tallandcurly.com -- here u go--)

I am Tall… Now what?!
Imagine walking in a street, people looking up and gazing at you. And suddenly! There is one of your SEPRATED schoolmate and she asks weird question and states annoying statements like
-how tall are you?
-what did you eat to be tall like that?
-Are you 18 years?
-do you play basketball? Volleyball?
- (in classes) can you plz move TALL GIRL? i can’t see!
-it must be difficult to find a man your size (what?! i am just 12!!)
And the simple and the CLASSIC one
-let me hide behind you so I get shade

WHAT? I AM TALL? ARE YOU SURE?
Yes. I am tall. No no, Tall is not my name. I have a name; it’s Mahek. I even have a surname with the whole genealogical tree to go with. But it seems like nothing comes before that. Before the fact that I am TALL. It’s my main occupation.
Oh I see. You thought I hadn't noticed. That’s why you apparently told yourself: ''Maybe I should go and tell her, just in case...like in FYI kind of way...''

And there you go: Hey! You’re TALL!!! And then: - how TALL are you? Why wouldn't you ask me that after all? You don’t ask his weight to a big man, you don’t go to someone with a big nose and say ' what a biiiiig nose!' but saying a TALL girl that she’s tall is fine?! Being tall is not a flaw. Believe me. Being tall is being a part of Claudia Schiffers family...and I love her...

I should make a special business-type card. it would feature my surname, my name, my phone number, my address and ,above all, my occupation: TALL, I am a professional Tall girl. And i am GOOD at what I do.

Anywhere I go, I never forget to be a head taller than everyone. By the way, Girls, it’s useless to put your high heels on and compete with me, I never get-out with my extra-long tibias.

I TRIED NOT TO BE TALL...BUT IT DIDN'T WORK

in my family everyone is tall..my mother,my father, aunts and uncles from both sides..If I was to calculate the average size of my family, I would probably get something like 5'11''.

actually, thinking quite again, I am average....compared to my family members ONLY!

Usually, girls like to glean a few inches over here and there. Those who are 4'4'' end up being 4'5'', those who are 5'1'' end up being 5'2'' and sometimes the 4'9 girls even manage to reach the modelling of 5'4'' with their heels.

OK....I can already see some throwing up their hands in horror..''is she kidding me?what is she complaining about?she's tall and she's annoying us with her ''problems''?'' well yess maaaam I ammm!

being tall is beautiful.being tall is elegant.Models are tall. ''Everybody wants to be tall!'' but I am not talking about the girls who are 5'5.5'' (Thats me!) I am talking about US. The REAL tall girls! the GIANTS!the 5'9'' and up! who seem to get vertigo when/if they wear their heels!

KEEP CALM AND BE TALL!
the first thing I would like to say to our shorter female fellows is that we generally feel bigger next to then than they felling shorter. And the fact that God was generous giving us extra inches doesn't mean our biggest concern is to get noticed every where we go.The problem is that we DO get noticed everywhere we go!

To this problem, there are only 2 solutions : either we feel bad about ourselves and we try to hide-and lets be clear about this: the probability to succeed is very low- or we're at ease with ourselves and stand tall and proud, just like you, but a little higher.

Plz stop considering us like threats or tigresses and plz stop looking at us as if we are a ridiculous alien species! most of us will then need our whole life to accept as we are, while many tall girls still don't love themselves and would happily get rid out of couple of inches...not mentioning the fact that unlike us, YOU can shop ANYWHERE.

To the gentlemen: we are not different from other girls. except that some of us have a bigger lack of confidence. Please be kind and don't be shy. Tall girls will be grateful to you!

To everyone: when you meet a tall girl, I bet that 100% of the time you notice that she is tall. is it a reason to mention it? speak of something else, for this too, tall girls will be grateful to you.

To you,the GIANTS, the AMAZONS, who like me can't buy clothes on the web because you fear to get too short sleeves or too short pants, and who you don't dare to wear high heels and who think wearing flat shoes you'll get less noticed, to you all: LOVE YOURSELVES <3

you've probably seen a tall girl wearing high heels before, walking proudly, maybe nonchalantly not caring about what people say and I'm sure you envided her, that tall, beautiful, elegant and above all a FREE girl! well BE that GIRL! your feet on the ground and head held up high :D

Lastly, I hope after reading this Blog, people who used to ask me weird questions and annoying statements would stop! OK I 'm fine with you guys calling me Tall, but not asking me weirdo questions and always telling me to GIVE AWAY few inches, I am what I am!! and no one can CHANGE ME!

BE LIKE A FrEe SoUl!

BTW, IT TAKES IN LOT OF EFFORT TO MAKE A BLOG! PLZ COMMENT WHAT IMPROVEMENT I CAN MAKE! I NEED FEEDBACK! IF NOT IN HERE YOU CAN MAIL IT TO ME ON MY EMAIL:

XOXO,
Mahek

Importance of having FRIENDS!!!

FOR THE FRIENDS OUT THERE!!!

-->Throughout the many unique and individual experiences I went through, the friendships that I made were one in a million. These friends shaped me and formed me in so many ways.I have learned an unfathomable amount through friendships as well as accumulating a lot of personal growth. The significance of friendships in my own Indian experience has taught me unique lessons, an open mind, respect, growth, and has given me a strong feeling for who I am. During my life I have been exposed to many kinds of people of all ages and ethnicity which have taught me things that I may have never learned.Thinking back, through all the memories and times, I got a taste of each persons personality in my personal experiences with them. I found many of those people who I enjoy to be with because we
share that common growth that lets you be yourself and feel comfortable. It really feels good to gave friends on the same level as you.Friendship is a very personal and unique thing.  No two relation between any two people will ever be the same because only those people know what they have been through or shared together.  This is what makes friendship such an exceptional thing.A large part of friendship is learning lessons together, and for almost everything in the world there is a lesson that must be learned.Learning these lessons through friendships is a very powerful and

exceptional thing.  These lessons have varied from one
extreme to the other in my life and have changed and shaped a large majority of my views and perceptions.  Learning any lesson with a friend, be it significant or not, will bring you closer together; and furthermore that lesson that you
learned was done in your own way which only you will have felt and experienced.  Some important lessons that had precedence in my life were about life in general, love, happiness, fear and a handful of other feelings.  From the time of my first friend I have begun learning about
life, basically what I like to do and what I am all about.  Only when you can truly be yourself around a person or people is when you start to learn about yourself.  And the thing is that what you did or what you or someone else did, when it comes down to it, you did it and no one else.  No one
else could feel the way you did or acted or reacted the way you personally did.  That aspect makes it more unique than anything else. So many feelings have been felt by myself about other friends that it would be impossible to even sum up.  A friendship is the only thing that can teach you some things about yourself, and others as well.Through friendships I have accumulated a very open-mind by allowing myself to really get into a person and learn what they are all about.  When you learn a significant amount about other people and their lives, one can look back and reflect on your own life.  I could never walk up to a person with my head filled with prejudgments.  This is based on my own experiences
with so many people where I might of met them thinking something in my head, but when I really got to know them I was so surprised because they turned out to be so opposite.  I am grateful for the things I have learned from my
friends because some people might never achieve that open mind, but that is only my unique personal experience. Many times I wonder how I met some of the people I did or did some of the things that I did with some people?  My personal answer is that I believe that the people I met and things I did were all meant to happen for a reason that is unknown to me, but I do know that they were meant to happen to me and only me.  Maybe I am being equipped with knowledge and experiences that will help me in my future life. Through my experiences with friends, a major lesson I learned was
respect.  A close, strong friendship is a powerful friendship because that is when you know that you can always count on that person, and through that aspect a large respect can be formed.  When I began to play sports is when
I first felt these feelings of great respect and care for another person. There is something about sports, the winning together, the losing together, the good and the bad, that seems to bring people closer together.  When
you're playing a football game in the fourth quarter, in the pouring rain and biting cold, with the sweat stinging your eyes and you need to stop the other team on the 1 yard line.  You look around then and you know who you're friends are.  You can know that no matter whether you win or lose, the
team and you're friends will still be there.  Knowing that makes me feel a great respect for them.

I have personally grown a great deal through the experiences with every friendship I have had.  And the unique part of that is that the ways in which I have grown are mine alone and could never be exactly experienced by another person.  By allowing myself to grow with others I have had a vast number of their experiences in which I could look at and then make my decision based on what I know from them and myself, where on the other hand some may only have their own experiences to base their decisions.

In conclusion, the friendships that I personally made were unique and could never be exactly the same for another person.  I have learned an unfathomable amount about life, love, and everything and that has made me grow. The significance of friendship in my own Indian experience taught me valuable lessons, an open mind, respect, growth and has given me the basis of who I am today.

Many varied lessons that I experienced with friends have changed and shaped a large part of my views and perceptions.  I found that learning lessons with friends brings you closer together.  Only with a friendship can some things be felt and learned.

An extremely important thing I got out of friendship was achieving an open mind.  This was achieved through a diverse set of friends that had a wide range of lifestyles and views, and I got to see them all.I learned a great respect for my friends and it has made my
friendships strong.  Furthermore, I grew a great deal from all the
experiences I went through with my friends.  Sometimes a friend is the only teacher for some lessons.  A friendship is something very personal and powerful and plays an important and unique role in my life.
